This is a genuine Knight Sports V-Mount kit that I imported directly from Japan. The intake that came with the kit was specific to the Japanese FD, so I designed and fabricated my own custom aluminum intake. This is the nicest possible kit that you can get for the FD, and works extremely well with the stock twin sequential turbo system. (It can also be used with a single turbo as well.)

The V-mount configuration ensures that cold air reaches the radiator, intercooler, and intakes at the same time. This kit is truly impressive. I have yet to hear of another of these kits imported into in the U.S.

The components in this kit are outstanding. The intercooler is a work of art. All of the piping is mandrel bent (not welded) and fits great. The radiator is actually supplied by the world-famous Ron Davis Racing, makers of radiators for racecars around the world. It is massive--larger than any other radiator for the FD. Overheating is a thing of the past.

The kit retains all of the factory ancillaries including the air pump. It uses extremely high quality parts throughout, all the way down to the Samco silicone couplings. It is a direct bolt-in to the US FD and can support A/C (I did not install it, but the kit comes with all the necessary brackets to do so).

There is ample ground clearance on the front of the radiator. It sits farther back and higher than front mount I/C kits. If I were going to do this all over again, this is the kit I would choose.
